Control Switch

The control switch is located on the steering column or steering wheel. SeeFig 1 -6. The main switch must be on for the control switch to function. When SET is pressed and then released, desired speed is set in the memory of the control unit. To accelerate from a set cruising speed, turn control switch to ACCEL position or depress ACCEL button. On RX7 models, hold SET button down to accelerate from a set speed. When switch is released the new higher speed will be set in the memory of the control unit.

When COAST switch function is activated, speed will be reduced. When switch is released, new lower speed will be set. If cruise control is overridden by means other than main switch, original speed can be resumed by activating RESUME function.
