Removal (Lancer)

  1. If vehicle is equipped with split rear seat, go to next step. If vehicle is equipped with bench rear seat, remove rear seat cushion assembly. See Figure. Remove rear seatback assembly and go to step  3.
  2. Remove rear seat cushion assembly. See Figure. Remove armrest spacer and rear seat armrest. Remove left and right rear seatback assembly. Remove right and left rear seatback side assembly. Go to next step.
  3. Remove access hole cover mounting screws to remove cover. Disconnect harness connector. Disconnect high-pressure fuel hose and fuel hose. Unscrew mounting nuts to remove fuel pump module. See Figure.
