DTC Confirmation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Nissan Altima. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: Never remove fuel filler cap during the DTC confirmation procedure.
NOTE: If DTC P0455 is displayed with P1448, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  for DTC P1448: EVAP CANISTER VENT CONTROL VALVE. Ensure that EVAP hoses are connected to EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve properly. If DTC confirmation procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
