Fuel Pressure Regulator: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply gasoline to 2 new O-rings and then install them to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

    2. Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
  2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP (for 4WD)  (See REASSEMBLY INSPECTION )
  3. INSTALL FUEL PUMP (for 2WD)  (See REASSEMBLY )
  4. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (for 4WD)  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)  (See INSTALLATION )

  6. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the fuel suction tube assembly to the fuel tank assembly (See INSPECTION ).
  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  8. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
