Ignition Control Module: Removal

  1. Remove spark plug wires at ignition control module assembly. See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove four electrical connectors at ignition control module.
  3. Remove four bolts retaining ignition control module assembly to rear camshaft cover. See Fig 2 .
  4. Remove ignition control module assembly from vehicle.
  5. Remove ignition coils from ignition control module assembly.
  6. Remove ignition control module from assembly bracket.
