CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off before disconnecting or connecting any control module connector. Failure to do so could result in damage to control module.
NOTE:
Ensure vehicle being tested has a fully charged battery. If it does not, false symptoms may occur.

Testing:
- Remove the batteries from the RKE Transmitter. Test the voltage of each battery. Is voltage more than 3 volts in each battery? If yes, go to next step. If no, replace batteries as necessary. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.
- Turn ignition off. Connect DRBIII(R) to DLC. Using the DRBIII(R), select BODY, BODY COMPUTER, MISCELLANEOUS, then RKE FOB TEST. Follow prompts on DRBIII(R). Does the transmitter pass the Fob Test? If yes, go to next step. If no, replace faulty transmitter and program all transmitters. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.
- Using the DRBIII(R), select BODY, BODY COMPUTER, MISCELLANEOUS, then PROGRAM RKE. Follow prompts on DRBIII(R) to program transmitter. Operate door locks using transmitter. Do door locks respond to transmitter commands? If yes, repair is complete. Program up to 3 additional transmitters. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. When programming is complete, turn ignition off and disconnect DRBIII(R). Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, replace CTM. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.
