Inspection Procedure

HINT:

When using the intelligent tester, start from 1. When not using the intelligent tester, start from 2.

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY)
1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Check that the DRL relay operates using the ACTIVE TEST (see DATA LIST/ACTIVE TEST ).
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY
1. Inspect the daytime running light relay (see ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION ).
- NG: REPLACE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY NO. 3
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY - BODY ECU)
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
